Framing & Rough Carpentry Course 🔨
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials made of wood, wood substitutes and metal studs.
- Installing floor beams, laying sub-flooring and erecting walls and basic roof systems.
- Select framing lumber.
- Illustrate layout and framing methods.
- Selecting material for particular projects.
- Use of measuring tools, hammering techniques, spirit level, dismantling tools (nail pullers and wrecking bars), screw guns, portable saws (circular, reciprocating, miter, cut-off, saber), routers and laminate trimmers, air compressor for air powered fastening power tools, concrete saws and impact drills.
- Cutting metal studs and track.
